Bergen Fencing Club is one of the US leading Saber clubs. We have fencers of all ages and abilities, from 5-60+ and from beginner to Olympian; new members of any level – including absolute beginners on our regular Beginner classes – are very welcome. We are very proud of our successes in competitions both in the US and Internationally.
Head Coach Oleg Stetsiv: Saber Coach at Princeton University, an “A”-rated fencer, 5 times NAC Veteran Champion. Oleg also works as a referee, officiating events both in the U.S. and abroad. We have a highly experienced COACHING TEAM!

Suitable for competitive fencers of ALL levels in preparation for the Summer National Fencing Championship.
Fencers include Team USA members, World and National champions, and NCAA college athletes.

Youth Camps (Waldwick, NJ)
Fencing is said to be a game of physical chess. It is a game of strategy and focus. It is a sport that builds agility, balance and coordination, and imparts values like respect, resilience and sportsmanship. During our Beginner/Intermediate Camps, fencers have a great opportunity to start or improve their skills. These camps are open to any and all fencers regardless of skill level.
Beginners/Intermediate Camp. August 9-13th
Field outings, general fitness improvement. Footwork, drills, bouting. Private lessons available upon request.
